Tea or “Chai” in India was first discovered in the wild jungles of Assam thousands of years ago. Today, India ranks as the second highest tea producing nation after China, although most of it is consumed by the nation's own population, and its consumption has become cultural custom. Exotic varieties such as Darjeeling aren't grown in any other country, and as a result, Indian tea has retained its preciously alluring, enticing aroma and taste.
